Seiko Prospex / Winner of the iF DESIGN AWARD 2021

On April 14th, Seiko Prospex SLA039 was awarded the “iF Design Award 2021”, one of the most important design prizes in the world, under the Product Discipline, Watches / Jewelry Category.
Since 1965, Seiko’s innovative design technology has been changing the global standards, offering reliability and safety to sports enthusiasts, professional and recreational divers and land or sky adventure seekers.
Seiko Prospex SLA039 is a re-creation of the Seiko 1968 diver’s watch. It introduces a new grade of stainless steel that allows for supreme levels of scratch and corrosion resistance. Its subtle gradation of the blue-gray dial captures the beauty of the sea and the way light gradually fades, as one dives deeper into the dark. The watch is equipped with the high beat 8L55 movement and with a structure designed to be robust and water resistant.
