Duty Free Dynamics present at ASUTIL’s “Encuentro Border Shops” Conference 2022

Duty Free Dynamics (DFD) was in attendance at the recent “Encuentro Border Shops” conference, represented by Category Manager Ximena Rosenblat. This event, held by ASUTIL (South American Duty-Free Association) in Montevideo, Uruguay, was a great networking opportunity for Ximena to conduct business with brands and travel retailers from around the world.

The two-day conference featured a lineup of experts who spoke about the progress and evolution of the Duty-Free channel since 2019 to present, referring to the performance of this market across the region (Uruguay, Argentina and Brazil).

In 2023, the ASUTIL Conference will be back as an in-person event, for the first time since 2017, and will be managed by TFWA. The event will take place on June 7th & 8th, in Puerto Madero, Buenos Aires, Argentina.

This is the only event that occurs in South America dedicated to the duty-free and travel market, supporting the growth of the industry in this region and, as such, providing DFD with an excellent opportunity to develop relationships and generate new business
