The annual Global Traveler Survey by ‘Airports Council International’ (ACI), shows the evolution of travelers’ sentiment and behavior of respondents who traveled at least annually before the pandemic and either began traveling again, even during the crisis, or plan to travel again in the future.
Some of the findings:
ACI World’s General Director Luis Felipe de Oliveira commented: “It’s clear from the ASQ 2022 Global Traveler Survey that passengers have a high intention to travel and have confidence in the industry to provide a safe environment. Airports should continue to place emphasis on their enhanced cleaning and safety measures”
He also said: “The wider aviation ecosystem should work together to continue to increase the adoption of technologies, such as providing real-time information, self-service options, and off-airport processing solutions, all of which travelers have shown a willingness to use.”
