Duty Free Dynamics & ORIS supporting the ‘Save the Turtles’ Foundation in Playa Venao, Panama

Duty Free Dynamics (DFD), official Travel Retail distributors of world-renowned ‘Oris’ watches in Panama, Colombia and Central America, seeking to convey the brand’s inspiration and values, by focusing on nature, awareness, sustainability and local impact.

In this occasion, with social impact in mind, we are supporting the “Save the Turtles” Foundation’s Project in Playa Venao, Panama, a non-profit organization registered as “Tortugas de Playa Venao” with the regional offices of ‘MIAMBIENTE’.

The Foundation’s misión is to protect endangered species and to educate the community about its proper handling pertaining to conservation, especially of the “Golfinas” turtles. Since 2021, it’s been the only legal turtle nursery in Playa Venao, with 4441 baby turtles released at a 92% survival rate.

ORIS, a Swiss manufacturer of high-end mechanical watches, founded in Holstein, Switzerland in 1904, is one of the largest and most prestigious watch companies in the world, widely admired for the quality, beauty, distinction, and exceptional craftsmanship of their timepieces.

In support of DFD and as a friend of the brand, the Panamanian artist Gennaro A. Rodriguez created an extraordinary piece of art inspired by the entire nesting process carried out by the Foundation to care for and preserve sea turtles. Available for sale and exhibited in 'Mercurio Joyeros', priced at $2,500, proceeds will be donated to ‘Save the Turtles’, Playa Venao.
