Spotlight on : Isabel Pimentel

At the beginning of November, you were celebrating your graduation. All our congratulations. Can you tell us about your school career?
Thank you! I now have an MBA with a specialization in Marketing. My bachelor’s degree is in Marketing and Advertising, with 2 emphasis: Graphic Design and Video Production.I have always been passionate for media and advertising.

What are the advantages of your Master's degree in your current position?
It makes me understand more of the business, and the importance of each department/area. Also, now I’m more capable to contribute to any of these areas if help is needed.

Any advice for young graduates?
Your education doesn’t end here. I don’t mean another bachelor or master, but look up for a seminar or online classes that will help you address some obstacle at work, or even in your personal life. If you think you don’t need any of these, I’m sure you do need to learn or strengthen a second or even third language.

What is your best school memory?
As of now, I don’t recall any specific memory, but I will always keep in my memories those who became my lifetime friends and the ones who showed care and respect for me.

What is your favorite family tradition?
Most of my family lives overseas, so the best tradition we came up with is to plan a yearly family meeting. This year was Peru and next will be Brazil, were my uncle, aunt and cousins live.

Tell us the 3 best things about you.
How about telling you what makes me be better each day? My family, my dachshund, Yoko and ONG Transformadoras

People would be surprised if they knew:
I like to listen heavy metal.

Dog or cat?
I’ll let Yoko (my dog) answer that for you.

Motto or personal mantra?
Carpe diem.

What do you like most about the Company?
The opportunity to grow.

What advice would you give to recent new hires?
Patience and resilience.

What is the journey of your dreams?
I’d love to attend the Holi Festival of Colours, I believe in the spiritual sense that this festivity wakes on you.

What would you take with you to a desert island?
A loooooot of things... I’m like an old lady that thinks that everything is essential, like the plastic grocery bags.

What’s your favorite ’90s jam?
Red Hot Chili Peppers - Californication
