Spotlight on: Sugeidy Esquivel

You joined the company almost a year ago as CFO Executive Assistant, can you tell us what you like the most about the company or your position?
What I like about the company is that it has highly talented and professional people, at the same time I perceive a lot of motivation and commitment from the staff with the vision of being number 1 in the market. And what I like about my position is that I can discover and improve my strengths for the development of my professional career in the administrative and financial area. The quality of my mentors that the company owns helps me identify my weaknesses and develop strategies to improve them.

How would you describe your job to a child?
I am an executive assistant, and I support someone else´s work by handling and supervising office duties.

What do you do after work?
I consider myself a Millenial so I check Instagram to see what’s trendy during the day. Sometimes a do some yoga and stretch muscles, read a book, or doing some homework.

What is the best piece of advice you’ve received?
Be patient because everything has its time.

If you could have a superpower, what would it be?
I would like a time machine to travel to the past and visit my grandparents and my best cousin who passed away.

What is the craziest thing you’ve ever done?
Take class of belly dance, it is fun but it takes a lot of time and dedication. So I quit.

Tell us the 3 best things about you.
I am good at drawing, painting in aquarelle and sometimes I am good at writing.

What kind of Monopoly player are you?
The one who wants to save money so I mostly lose.

What would you take with you to a desert island?
A camel so I can get out of there.

What is your favorite family tradition?
My family do every year Secret Santa and we gather together as many holidays we can.

Every Sunday is my favorite.
