The Pulse - powered by Sennheiser

Sennheiser, leading audio company, is dedicated to creating an online community for music enthusiasts and industry professionals.

The Pulse, a YouTube channel for like-minded audio enthusiasts, provides exclusive content and behind the scenes footage with legendary artists, creators and innovators. Although the project is young, the channel already has more than seven thousand subscribers and features a variety of artists such as Lindsey Webster, Ed Sheeran, Naomi Banks, and live DJ sets.

“We have connections with so many amazing people in the music industry, so we wanted to create a platform that would shine a light on their careers and their work in an unconventional way,” says Pierre Morant, Head of Relationship Management Professional Audio at Sennheiser.

“On The Pulse, we are sharing the stories of musical legends and engineers, their tips and tricks, and the audio tools they use to create their music. We always want to create a relaxed atmosphere, so we’re flexible on where we record and can support any out-of-the-box recording format,” says Morant. “We’re delighted with the response we’ve had so far and we’re looking forward to posting some great new sessions.”

English Singer-Songwriter, Frank Turner, takes us behind the scenes in two episodes to discuss his home studio setup which he calls “The Control Room.” He gives fans a run-down of what gear he uses to mix and produce for demos, featuring Sennheiser and Neumann products. The Sennheiser's HD800s headphones, which are featured in the video, are a standout product according to Frank. “It’s ridiculous to me how good these headphones are,” he says.

On Sept 17, 2021, DJ MOGUAI played a complete set from Sennheiser’s factory floor in Germany. MOGUAI said, "I have been using Sennheiser’s HD 25 DJ headphones for over 30 years and I am still thrilled. They have become a loyal companion for me. Performing at the Sennheiser manufacturing plant in Wedemark was a great honour for me."

While many live events are on-hold, it becomes even more important for the music industry and enthusiasts to rally together online. The Pulse offers a rare opportunity for that, and Sennheiser products are the perfect accompaniment to make your at home listening experience feel like you were with the artist in person.
